Analysis and Design of Bessel Beam Launchers: Transverse Polarization

In this communication, we present a theoretical analysis, design, and fabrication of limited-diffractive planar Bessel beam launcher, that exhibits zeroth-order profile in the transverse electric field component with respect to z-propagation axis. The launcher is designed by synthesizing finite zeroth-order, first kind Hankel aperture distribution, polarized along fixed polarization unit vector. radiated such an distribution derived following approximate model based on geometric theory diffraction, thus allowing highlight relevant wave constituents involved generation, also including effect truncation beam. Moreover, analysis has been profitably applied design circular-polarized means slotted radial waveguide. A prototype right-handed circular (RHCP) then fabricated at f = 30 GHz. measured shows satisfactory agreement full-wave numerical simulations.
